The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care Program at IWTC prepares students to enter the healthcare field with confidence, skill, and compassion. CNAs are essential members of the care team, providing hands-on support to patients in nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, and home health settings.
Our CNA program combines classroom instruction, skills lab training, and supervised clinical experience to ensure graduates are fully prepared for the Florida CNA Certification Exam and ready to succeed in patient care roles.

Students gain the knowledge and practical skills to:
Provide personal care and daily living support to patients.
Measure and record vital signs accurately.
Assist with feeding, mobility, hygiene, and infection control.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Uphold professional and ethical standards of care.

Total Hours: 120 hours (Florida DOE & FBON-approved)
80 hours: Classroom & Skills Lab
40 hours: Supervised Clinical Practice in a licensed healthcare facility
Format: On-Campus (Orlando) with Hybrid Learning Options
Duration: 6–8 weeks (full-time) or 10–12 weeks (part-time/evening/weekend)

Must be at least 18 years old.
Government-issued photo ID.
High School Diploma or GED (recommended, not required).
Health and clinical clearances: physical exam, immunizations, TB screening, CPR/BLS.
Level 2 background check and fingerprinting.

Program Tuition: $1,251.80 (all-inclusive fees)
Includes classroom instruction, lab use, clinical placement, and exam preparation support.
Financial aid options, payment plans, and scholarships may be available.

Graduates of the CNA program are eligible for entry-level positions as:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Patient Care Technician (with additional training)
Home Health Aide
Nursing Assistant in acute or long-term care settings
This program also serves as the first step toward advanced nursing and healthcare careers, including Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), and beyond.
